As if Kris Myer’s drum lessons weren’t sweet enough, Umphrey’s McGee  has just announced the musical summer camp opportunity of a lifetime.

Located in the picturesque Catskill Mountains of Big Indian, New York - sUMmer school will take place at the Full Moon Resort from August 6 to 10 2012. For 150 ridiculously lucky people, you will get the chance to spend five days filled with interactive workshops, performances and other activities all led by the boys of Umphrey's McGee and their crew.

sUMmer school is not just for musicians yearning to acquire new skills, anyone interested in the music industry is invited to sign up. If you're into lighting, booking or any other aspect of music business this five-day workshop is for you, too.

All applicants will be given the ability to decide what is on the agenda for the week by a survey outlining who you are, your musical skills and what you would like to see on your syllabus. As we know, Umphrey’s is always searching for innovative ways to connect with their fans, but this tops the cake.

Accomadations include double occupancy rooms in cabins, cottages and lodges as well as outdoor camping.
