Calling all drummers and percussionists in the Midwest/Chicago area: Umphrey's McGee's Kris Myers is giving lessons to interested (intermediate/advanced) musicians. Myers wants to help fellow drummers with stick control, groove playing, timekeeping and more.
Lessons will take place at the Music Garage, located at 345 N. Loomis in Chicago. Applicants will be chosen based on their application and overall knowledge and skill. Umphrey's website has the list of available dates and times as well as more information on how to apply. Lessons will be $70.00/hour, but really, it's a pretty priceless experience.
Start practicing drummers - this is an incredible opportunity to step up your skills and get to chill with one of the best drummers in the country.
