String Cheese Incident Releases First New Single In 7 Years, "Can't Wait Another Day"

It’s been 7 years since the world last heard a new String Cheese Incident song, and today is the day in which that silence is broken. It’s a little ditty titled “Can’t Wait Another Day.” As the biggest name in jam-grass, Cheese-heads have surely been eager for some new material from the band.

The single can be streamed and downloaded for free through Billboard.com or SoundCloud. Billboard also interviewed keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth, in which he talks about how the song was  "an Afro groove that had been flying around in my brain for awhile.”

It will be interesting to see what Cheese does with the new single at Electric Forest and on their Summer Tour. The band is also in the talks about releasing a new album sometime in the near future.

Check out what else to expect from Electric Forrest in our 2012 Preview Guide.
