Let the rumor mill rest: Bands That Jam has confirmed that Phish has signed a contract with Watkins Glen racetrack to hold a festival on the site in upstate New York the weekend of June 30 to July 3.

Rumors began after Watkins Glen announced it wouldn't be hosting the annual Fourth of July NASCAR race. It has now been confirmed that tickets for the festival will be $200.00 and the band will play eight sets over the course of the three days.

Camping will begin on Thursday, and re-entry will not be allowed throughout the weekend.

This is Phish's first festival since Festival 8, hosted in Indio, CA over Halloween weekend of 2009. Watkins Glen hasn't hosted a festival since Summer Jam in 1973 which featured The Band, the Grateful Dead, and The Allman Brothers Band. An estimated 600,000 attended that festival.
