MG3 Trio Combines Jazz With Holiday Favorites

Mike Gambone, former drummer for The Bridge and current member of the newly formed Cris Jacobs Band, is taking a hiatus from the jam band scene to play jazz versions of classic holiday songs.

The ensemble, which also features bassist Bob Brooks and guitarist Jon Rogerson, have dubbed themselves the MG3 Trio. Paying homage to their roots in the jazz tradition, the Baltimore-based group will be performing traditional songs with their own unique interpretations.

You can see MG3 perform “Jazz for the Holidays” at Germano’s Trattoria in Baltimore, MD on December 15. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at 3000 South High Street in Little Italy.
