Native Vermonter Grace Potter has announced a show to raise money for Hurricane Irene disaster relief. The flooding caused by the storm affected her personally, putting restaurants that she has frequented all her life under water and preventing her from reaching her home.
Taking place on Sunday October 9 at the legendary Flynn Theatre in Burlington, VT, the event (which is being called “Goodnight Irene: Flood Relief Benefit”) will feature many different ways to contribute to the recovery effort.
Besides regular admission tickets, there is a Gold Circle option that includes a cocktail hour and a chance to meet the band. These tickets will be $25.00 with regular tickets ranging between $30.00 and $50.00.
The silent auction will run from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the show is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday September 20 at 10:00 a.m.
