December is cold, so this year, Strings and Sol invites us to get away to the beach in Mexico at an all-inclusive resort featuring three sets of Yonder Mountain String Band and two sets of Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon and The Infamous Stringdusters.
This beach-side destination festival is happening December 12 to 16 thanks to Cloud 9 Adventures, the same folks that have put on Mayan Holidaze, Jam Cruise and Holy Ship! The event is being hosted at Dreams Tulum Resort on the Mayan Riviera, five minutes from the ruins and 75 minutes from Cancun.
In addition, Strings and Sol will have excursions available to guests who require that extra little bit of adventure. Similar to that of it's predecessors, excursions will range from snorkeling to zip-lining and even a hike on the side of a Mayan pyramid.
Ticket packages for the event start at around $1,000 (plus airfare) and go on sale starting May 23 through Strings and Sol. Only 1,000 tickets are being sold for this event, so you beach bums should hop in this one sooner rather than later.
