After an impressive first year that boasted the likes of The Flaming Lips, Bassnectar and Pretty Lights, Snowball Music Festival is back again and from the looks of the initial lineup announcements this one promises to be another heater in the snowy mountains of Vail Valley, CO.
Yesterday, the sophomore festival - set to take place from March 2 to 4, 2012 - announced a few of the acts on what is certain to be another eclectic bill with something for everyone from bassheads to hipsters. Bassnectar, Big Boi, Elephant Revival, TV on the Radio, Rusko, MartyParty, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and MiM0SA will all be making apperances.
Thus far today, BoomBox, who just yesterday released a video from their recent sold out show in Fort Collins for their new track "Me and My Baby," and indie-pop rockers The Head and The Heart have been added with more lineup additions expected next week.
Not only will festivalgoers be treated to top-notch musical talent, they will also have the ability to hit the slopes for skiing and snowboarding and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer.
Tickets for the event are available for the "Holiday Special" price of $149.50 until Christmas Eve via the festival's website. Scoop yours today and keep checking back as more artists are added to the lineup.
