The 2nd Annual Whippersnap Music and Arts Festival In Illinois Announces Lineup: Particle, Railroad Earth, Funky Meters

Barefoot Fred Productions, Inc. presents the second annual Whippersnap Music and Arts Festival, set to take place July 19 to 21, 2012, two hours outside of Chicago at Lyran Park in Rockford, IL. WMAF 2012 will feature three days of music with over 50 acts across three stages including The Funky Meters, Railroad Earth, Particle, Greensky Bluegrass and Digital Tape Machine, ft. Kris Myers and Joel Cummins of Umphrey’s McGee.
A self-proclaimed community of “young, tech-savvy, environmentally conscious” folk, Whippersnappers are uniting national and local musicians, artisans, environmentally conscious partners and music lovers of all ages in an effort to connect the Midwest through music and art.
A $90.00 weekend pass promises over ten acres of shaded camping, a river for swimming and fishing, a camp store, electronics charging station, fire pits, beer and wine on-site, food and craft vendors, wellness classes, an art gallery, workshops and a lil’ snap kids zone.
Pre-party tickets, available for $20.00, include early bird camping, artist showcases, prize giveaways, access to limited signed merch and additional perks. VIP upgrades are available for an additional $100.00 and will grant you access to the Thursday night pre-party, drink and meal tickets, a T-shirt, a limited edition poster and a private game of H-O-R-S-E with the members of Digital Tape Machine, Roster McCabe and more.
Saturday tickets are available for $55.00. RV spots with or without electricity are also available for $95.00 and $45.00 respectively.
