Moogfest 2012 Taps Primus, Orbital, Squarepusher, Shpongle

Today, the third annual Moogfest announced its lineup with Primus 3-D, Orbital, Miike Snow, and Santigold topping the bill. The multi-venue music festival celebrates the life and visionary influence of Bob Moog - a pioneering force in electronic music and the greater music scene as a whole.
Other notable acts on the initial bill include Squarepusher, Explosions in the Sky, Richie Hawtin, Four Tet, Shpongle presents The Masquerade, Black Moth Super Rainbow, GZA performing "Liquid Swords," and Prefuse 73.
Shows will take place over the Halloween weekend from October 26 to 27 in numerous Asheville, North Carolina venues including The Orange Peel, Asheville Music Hall, Thomas Wolfe Auditorium and the Moog Music Factory.
