Art Outside Taps ill.Gates, Heyoka, Random Rab, Stephan Jacobs

The 4th annual Art Outside Festival announced its initial lineup today with renowned glitch-hop producer and composer ill.Gates, cosmic alien bass scientist Heyoka and downtempo sunrise sensei Random Rab topping the bill.

Nor-Cal's Headtron agency has a strong presence at this year's event with their eclectic lineup of West Coast bass music producers littering the lineup. Stephan Jacobs, Gladkill, Sugarpill, Russ Liquid, Chris B., GoldRush and jOBOT will all be in throwing down sets at this year's event. 

Having personally attended Art Outside each year since its inception, I can attest to the beauty of this little-known (albeit not for long) Central Texas festy. Festival organizers put an extreme emphasis on visual art in addition to top notch musical talent - really setting AO apart from other similar festivals. Following in the footsteps of conscious events like Symbiosis, Sonic Bloom and Lightning in a Bottle, Art Outside offers an intimate festival with all the benefits of a large-scale production.
