This year's SnowGlobe Festival, set to take place from December 29 - 31 in South Lake Tahoe, announced its lineup this afternoon with super producer Deadmau5, electro duo Chromeo, and hip hop artist and marijuana aficionado Wiz Khalifa topping the bill.

Deadmau5 is playing an "Unhooked" set, which essentially means just a regular DJ set. No LED mau5 - head, no cube, etc. The undercard is strong however, with Beats Antique, Big Gigantic, Gramatik, Polica, Minnesota, BoomBox, GRiZ, Archnemesis and Nadis Warriors all making apperances at the sophomore installment of this New Year's eve fest.

Sugarpill, Up Until Now, Break Science, ill. Gates, Baauer, Flosstradamus and Ana Sia are also on the bill, which features mostly electronic artists spanning the gamut of genres with electro, hip hop, trap, dubstep, glitch and breaks artists all covered.

3-day passes for the event are on sale now for $155.00 plus taxes and fees. For full lineup and ticketing information head on over to the official website and snag yours today.

Many fans in the Southeast are getting geared up for a visit from Phish this weekend, but the folks into the jamtronica, EDM and DJ scene are also anxiously awaiting the inaugural Counter.Point Music Festival, which takes place September 27 to 29 in Fairburn, GA – about 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta. Earlier today, C3 Presents (Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza) and MCP Presents (Camp Bisco) announced the daily lineup of bands that will transform nearly 8,000 acres of Georgia farmland into the biggest party in the South for one weekend. Check out the entire day-by-day band lineup on their official website.

Thursday’s lineup is headlined by Big Gigantic, who will be heading back to their home state of Colorado to headline Rowdytown at Red Rocks later that weekend. Other acts on Thursday include Beats Antique, Up Until Now (with special guest David Murphy of STS9), Run DMT and more.

Friday’s schedule includes a diverse lineup including headliners Bassnectar and AVICII. French shoegaze electronica six-piece M83 and Brooklyn-born rapper and fashion icon Theophilus London also perform on Friday, along with MiM0SA, Dr. Fameus and Crystal Castles.

Saturday’s lineup brings the heat with Skrillex and Pretty Lights, Philly-based Lotus, Atlanta native hip-hop mogul Big Boi, Austin synth-pop duo Ghostland Observatory, Southern electro-rockers Zoogma and Pretty Lights Music labelmates Paper Diamond and Michael Menert. Other notable acts include Conspirator, Steve Angelo, Porter Robinson, Zeds Dead and many others.

The festival also announced that single-day general admission and VIP tickets are being made available in addition to the three-day general admission, VIP and Platinum passes that have been on sale for the last few months. Single-day and three-day tickets are available on Counter.Point’s website. The fest, which will be held at the same location as 2007’s The Echo Project, will also house an arts village, extreme sports demonstrations, a beer garden, local food and drink vendors and a college football viewing area.
