History Lesson: Camp Bisco Through The Years

On the eve of the tenth Camp Bisco festival, we're all excited and anxious for what's sure to be a weekend to remember.

A decade into its existence, Camp Bisco today has emerged as one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the country. We've dug into the archives here to bring you the history of this summer staple, so we can all appreciate how far its come over the years.

A Message From The Disco Biscuits Canceling Camp Bisco 2001:

"It is with profound disappointment that we announce that Camp Bisco 2001 will not take place. A series of setbacks has severely stalled the process and we feel it would be irresponsible to continue working on the event.

Camp Bisco is the pride of our organization, and in no way would we compromise what the fans and band have come to expect from the weekend. We truly believe that “Bisco” is something special and that our fans deserve the very best.

As work progressed on the event, it became more and more clear that our vision was not being realized, and rather then proceed in a substandard situation, we will turn our focus to the end of the year, and several other projects with which we are currently involved. . . ."
